So, some of us buy a computer~~or if you are like us, we chose, WebTv. An awesome little black box!! And with the help of friends and a little common sense, this page has been created with that "little black box".
Inside we have access to a whole new world!! You can visit places you thought you would never see~~learn about topics you thought you could never discuss, and even learn to understand them~~meet people from all walks of life~~the searching and learning never ends.
We all, PC users and WebTv users alike have access to what they call , "Message Boards". Where people come together by posting about a variety of subjects. We in the WebTv world post to a "NG"~~news group~~the subject matter covers ANYTHING you can possibly think of!!
The "NG's" are also a place where you can and will come to know one another, like your neighbor, or a best friend. In the beginning they have no face, no voice~~just words on a screen. THEN~~a personality will come to life right before your very eyes. You start laughing with one another, share a secret or two, may even shed a tear with them. You listen to them like you have never listened to anyone before. And before you know it~~you have made a "FRIEND"!!
I have had the opportunity to post to a few NG's. Even if you just stop in to ask one question, someone will reply. Or if you are like so many others, you can sit back, grab your keyboard, a cup of coffee~~and make yourself at home!! I did just that~~and the friends that have been made is beyond your imagination!!
In a few weeks, some of these "friends" are going to meet face to face!! Then I will be back to update you on our FIRST UNION~~~we call it this because we have not "unioned" yet. :-) There are more of these unions being planned as I speak. So, stay tuned, there is more to come, soon!!!
