Eight Golden Globe Award Nominations, four wins. Fourteen Academy Award Nominations,
eleven wins. Most critics predicted that James Cameron's TITANIC would never make back
the $200 million dollars that was spent on it. However, it has spent every week since
it's release at number one (14 weeks and counting). Of the top movies ever in America,
it has beaten STAR WARS to become Number ONE. It is now the first movie ever to
ever reach One Billion dollars in world wide box office ticket sales. Judging by
the lines I stood in the six times I saw it, I am throughly convinced that it
could go much higher then that. Thanks to the brillant mind of James Cameron, the
first epic movie in a long time is filling theaters across America. No film in the
near future is likely to top this. It's a phenomenon no one expected. Everything
from set design to costumes to the very minute details, no stone was left unturned
in recreating what James Cameron called "the ultimate symbol of technological failure."
This is a truly great movie. Every cent of the $200 million can be seen in the
film. I hope that you enjoy my site, dedicated to the film that grabbed me in
a way no other movie ever did. Thanks for visiting!!
