3 lb lean ground beef
5 lb all purpose potatoes, cubed
(do not use baking potatoes)
6 10 oz cans Campbell's Tomato Soup
(condensed) w/6 cans water
2 lg onions, chopped coarsely
3 green bell peppers, chopped
coarsely
3 tbsp sweet basil
3 tbsp oregano
1 or 2 bay leaves
4 lg cloves garlic, minced
2 tsp olive oil
salt & pepper to taste

Saute the onions & peppers in the
oil.
Add the ground beef and continue
cooking until the beef is no longer
pink.
Add the rest of the ingredients and
mix well.
salt & pepper to taste.
Simmer on medium heat until the
potatoes are done.
This is a very tasty, hearty meal
and I love dipping a good, crusty
bread into the sauce.
