Q: Fans have E-mailed the Storm WWW Page with overwhelming positive response to the "Abraxas Pool" album. They basically want to know if there is any plans for a tour and/or a follow-up album in the future?
A: Thanks to all the fans!! As far as the future, as I have said, if the situation presents itself.
Q: Are there any videos for the "Abraxas Pool" album and/or plans to do any?
A: No, not at this time, but we always have many plans. :)
Q: Of all the albums you have done, what one would you like to be remembered for?
A: I like them all for many reasons. [Santana, Journey, Solo Albums, Abraxas Pool and The Storm] But, if I had to be pinned down on just one, I think I would have to say it is Santana's "Abraxas" album.
Q: There was a song I heard on a very early Santana album. I think it was called "The Years Going By". What is it titled and who wrote the song?
A: The name of the song is really "As the Years Go Passing By" and we got the song from Albert King.
Q: What type of keyboard equipment did you use on this project?
A: The keyboard equipment that I used on "Abraxas Pool" album was a Hammond B-3, JV-80, D-550, JX and TK-7.
Q: I heard that there is a new version of the "Abraxas Pool" album. That it has new artwork and a new mix of the album. Is that true?
A: No, there isn't a new version of the album. However, we do have two edits that were done for radio and this might be what you heard.
Q: What new bands of the last few years have you liked?
A: The new bands I like are 311, the Wallflowers, and Collective Soul to name a few.
Q: What are your favorite tracks on the "Abraxas Pool" album?
A: I would have to say my favorite tracks are Boom Ba Ya Ya, A Million Miles Away, Bailia Mi Cha-Cha, Waiting for You, Going Home, Szabo and Don't Give Up.
Q: Which ones were the best or most fun to play live?
A: All of them!!
Q: Have there been times you felt like giving up music and what has gotten you through those times?
A: I do sometimes get frustrated with the "business" side of music, but not the creative drive. It always seems to survive the times!
