peace that comes
around, abound, no sound
like a quiet waterfall
rushing, gushing, flushing
that peace
fills and fills
sweeping across all that ties
flushing away all the lies
purging from me all my I's
and leaves

great truths I have none
but the life I have and am to live
the paths trodden and trodden again
say what I have been
given to give.
hurt, happiness and hallowed times
turn to teaching and telling and aching
knowing those times others now at
the paths and the detours their taking.
