The problem is even worse if Asian
people are involved. Being Asian myself (Filipino), I have seen this
first-hand. Most Asians must believe that there is some kind of international
law that says that all Asians families must own at least one Honda or Acura
(an upscale Honda). Since I am not a Honda owner, I have relatives that
harass me about owning an "unreliable American car", while they took there
new Honda Civic into the Honda dealer numerous times to get its defective
front suspension fixed, denying that there is any problem with it. While
my brother-in-law's "reliable, sensible Honda" was in the shop, I continued
to drive my "unreliable American gas guzzler" which, by the way, is 30
years old and got me from my senior year in high school through college
and beyond. They traded in that new Civic on a 4X4 Toyota truck, but now
they say, that they want to buy another Honda!
