What do a Honda CART race car and a Honda Civic have in Common?
Many Honda enthusiasts boast that a lot of the technology from Honda's racing
cars is used in Honda's ordinary passenger cars. This is not true. In fact,
on Honda's own racing site it states:
"However, nowadays there's very little in common between the hardware of racing cars and passenger cars."
But some Honda enthusiasts still claim that a Civic or Integra have a lot in common with the race cars. Hmm,
maybe that'll be true when they start putting turbocharged V8 engines that cost about $7 million dollars each
in Civics, or when Civics get a mid engine chassis built by Reynard that costs about $630,000.
Below is a graphic that shows some of the incredible similarities between a Honda Civic and a Honda CART race car.
