It all started out when Casey Becker and her boyfriend Steven Orith were found gutted outside Casey's house... and it kept building. "Mr. Ghostface" was all he was known by. And Sidney Presscott faced him next, as he chased her down and was unsucessful. But then Sidney suspects it was her boyfriend Billy-and turns him in.

After Billy coming out clean, Sidney is stalked and school and a town curfew is set- but that's not going to stop Stu from throwing a bash, where Mr. Ghostface kills off the Principal, as party-goers find out, and Tatum.

Gale Weathers, a cheesy tabloid journalist, suspects a hot story- so she butters up police officer Dewey Riley for info.

Soon, after trying again to attack Sidney, Mr. Ghostface kills Gale's Cameraman, Kenny..

And next Randy is shot, Gale is stabbed, Dewey is stabbed, leaving Sidney a choice- is the killer her boyfriend Billy or friend Randy? After finding out that it's both, they tell her their plan- to blame it all on Sidney's dad,saying he snapped after the 1 year death reunion of his dead wife. Sidney unfoils their plan and kills them both- and remains safe.. That is, until the sequel....
