Edwin H. King, 93, of Orange, Massachusetts, died Friday at the Wellman Rest home in this city where he had been a patient for several months. Mr. King was born Feb. 29, 1856 in Berkshire Center, Vermont, a son of William and Mary King. He moved to Massachusetts at an early age and soon after to Orange where he had lived most of his life and was employed by the New Home Sewing Machine company.
He had been a member of the Masonic fraternity since 1884. Mr. King leaves three daughters, Mrs. Eben E. Gridley of New Salem, Massachusetts and Sarasota, Florida, Mrs. L. G. Aron of Keene and Mrs. Ruby Ramsay of Cohasset, Massachusetts, two brothers, Homer, of Claremount; Mitchell of Concord; five grandchildren, Ansel Gridley of West Brookfield, Massachusetts, Mrs. Charles McMillan of Athol, Massachusetts, Delbert, Edwin and Gordon Aron, all of Keene; several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at the Higgins funeral home in Orange, Massachusetts, Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Central Cemetery, Orange. |
