| Establishment and Administration of the Fund

The fund was established by the Bradley Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees on June 18, 1992 in memory of Marjorie Vicente, a student at Bradley Elementary School whose life was so tragically ended in an automobile accident on. The fund is administered by the Superintendent of Bradley Elementary School as directed by Board of Trustees Resolution dated June 18, 1992.

Qualifications and Application Process

One scholarship in the amount of $500.00 shall be distributed annually to students who have graduated from Bradley Elementary School, commencing with the High School graduating class of 1996, and meet the following application requirements: | All applicants must submit: 1. A letter of Application requesting the scholarship, indicating use and stating why the governing board should award it to the applicant. (Grammar, punctuation, spelling and content will be considered) 2. Proof of continuing education such as letter of acceptance, verification of enrollment, etc. in an institution of higher education. 3. Proof of completion of High School-e.g. copy of GED, diploma, etc. Above items must be submitted to: Superintendent Bradley Union School District P.O. Box 60 Bradley, CA 93426 (805)472-2310 on or before July 1st of the year the applicant wishes to be considered. Bradley Elementary school is a two room school with an average daily attendance of 40 students and is located in a town with a population of 79, at the southern end of Monterey County California.
Support for the Fund

This fund is supported solely from fund-raisers and private contributions. The Annual Bulldog Run is held in March of every year, from which all proceeds go to support the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship Fund. This along with generous contributions from private citizens allows for the fund to be perpetuated. | Tax Deductible donations to the Marjorie Vicente Memorial Scholarship fund may be mailed to the address above. This year's Bulldog run was held on March 14. 1998, and was a big success, we hope to see you next year!! Favourite links
