In this week's episode, aired on 21/07/98, Maggie and P.J's relationship is on the rocks when Maggie and Ben kiss whilst at the station.

Ben Stewart is accused of murdering a criminal and drug user and this cause their relationship to go topsy turvey. Maggie believes Ben but P.J goes with the evidence he gets and this points towards Ben, especially when murder weapon is found in the back seat of his car! Maggie and P.J's different opinions lead to them argueing both saying that they are letting their personal feelings get involved into their work.
