Tom Croyden has just recently been promoted to a senior sergant and he has been working there for over 20 years and knows the town like the back of his hand.

He is around 45 years old and has 2 daughters, one of which (Anna) has a son called Sam making Tom a proud grandfather. The other (Susan) has always been Tom's golden girl until he fouind out that she was doing drugs. He was married once but his wife has since died.

Tom wasn't born in Mt Thomas he was at a place called Lake End.
