Come in and meet my furry friends... and if you
would like to go to the adCats homepage (the link
is at the bottom of this page) you can meet some
of my on-line cat-lovin' friends and their cats
too...
But first!
My "kids". Angel (the little one) is 15 years
old. She has been in charge of my life since she
was a 3 week old foundling.
Speedo (the big one) is 9 years old. He is an
intelligent, loveable trouble-maker who takes
orders only from Angel. I wouldn't have it any
other way.
When Speedo was a youngster, he went to work with me every day at the Animal Shelter. He was in
charge of educating people (and dogs) on proper
conduct, adoption procedures and spay/neuter
policies. He was very good at it.
When Angel was a youngster, she enjoyed doing battle with the telephone cord... I don't know why. But here she is after a big win.
When Speedo wasn't at work, he and Angel would snuggle (and still do, see first picture)...

My dearly beloved Warlock died in 1987. I still miss his beautiful face, vivacious spirit and tender heart madly. He came to me full grown, abused and neglected. He had been declawed on all four paws, had ringworm and a raging flea allergy. I loved him instantly and he returned it with all his heart.

When Angel came along he opened his heart up a little more and took her in too. He was patient with her kittenhood beyond belief and taught her to be the gentle little lady that she is today.

I know his sweet spirit is near us both even today.
Racer joined our family when we lived in Washington State (I know, he's not a cat). Sweet little companion that he was he comforted both Angel and me when Warlock passed away.
This was the scene in our house on many a night. We called it the "sleep stack". Angel on top (of course) Racer on the afghan and Mariah (the shepherd) on the floor.
And last of all, Speedo and his toys... This was taken at the same time as the first picture. On Christmas morning, after all the presents were opened... Speedo liked his gifts a lot!
