My First Love

An Angel came down from the heavens above
And filled me with her pure, sweet love
She saved me from my life of hell
A way of life I knew so well
She put a smile upon my face
And touched me with her loving grace
In her arms she held me tight
Spread her wings and then took flight
Up to the clouds we soared through
To her home in heaven we flew
To a place of peace and love so kind
A place to ease a troubled mind
Where my spirit was set free
And my Angel did truly see
That our love would last forever
And we'd always live together
Heaven's where we'll always be
