I am drowning in a sea of tears,
I have so much hurt; pain; so many fears.
All I want is to be happy, but then,
I ask you, God, time and time again–"When"?
The clock is ticking; I no longer want to live,
What good is life when–love–no one wants to give.
I am drowning in my tears so deep,
And soon I no longer will be able to weep.
I'm going down in my sea of tears:
Oh God, thank you; No more pain, hurt or fears.
