Why did He have to die so many years ago?
I will tell you why!
He died because He loved you and I.
When He was nailed to the cross,
Why did he endure such pain?
Because He died for you; He died for me
To save us all from sin.
So if your ever feeling sad or blue
And not knowing what to do
Or if your ever in doubt
Look up toward heaven and give the Lord a shout!
And say thank you Lord for dying for my sins.
I will love you Lord forever
Until you come back again
