Welcome To Kissable's Kozy Korner

The waterfall

The waterfall
     trickles
                  high in the sky:
When the sun is

and the land is dry.

The waterfall rages
     throughout the ages
When the deluge starts
     And the rain god imparts

nourishment and punishment
bereavement and achievment
thirst quenching rain
life giving pain

near, the sound deafening:
wilder, threatening,
further just mist if u insist...
on keeping a distance

tempestuous shower
wash over me
setting my mind and my body free
setting my mind and my body free

WHY?

Why do I come here
Day after day
Chatting and
dreaming my life away?

Is it obsession
or something else yet?
The answer eludes me
But someday will get.

Where else can you go
At 3 a.m. sharp
And find someone to talk to
Heart to heart?

And others to play
And to quote poetry
'Tis here in the chat
That I feel the most free.

I've noticed the winter
Is slipping away
Springtime is nearing
Not too many days.

Im addicted to chatting
Im forced to admit
But Ill keep coming back
Refusing to quit!

As with any addiction
Tough love is the cure
But until I am ready
I shall remain... shall endure.

I live in the web
Am I real anymore?

passion's embers

white hot flames
fan the passionate tryste
the spark and the longing
are there i insist

the longing and hunger
the need to be loved
apparent and glaring
yet isnt enough

the lingering kiss
the deep longing sigh
the things that should capture
the new lovers' eye

for a moment in time
the embers glow bright
then fade with the warmth
like the dying star's light

enrages, enriches
entraps, bewitches
the ember flames forth
like a white hot sunbeam

then fades all too quickly
runs out of steam

the passionate eye
drifts away and is lost
love's sacrifices
one more heart it has cost

the faith in the love
is shattered and lost
love has a cost
love has a cost

sometimes the dream is better

sometimes the dream is better
these words ive heard before
but is picturing the ocean
like standing on the shore?

is staring at the starry sky
like soaring thru the clouds
winged, feathered creatures fly
voices very loud

in the sand i draw the letters
of my name and watch them go
as the rolling waves come crashing in
and waters start to flow

the touch of the raindrop
the feel of the pain
the taste of the snowflake
drive me insane

the dream is like a memory
or a wish if u prefer
seize the moment ...life awaits
stand upon the shore
