Welcome    to    my    world    .    .    .

Hi there, come on in. I'd like to tell you about myself.

My name is Kelly Lynne, and I was born on January 11, 1978. I live in northeastern Alberta, in a beautiful country called Canada. Well, that's when I'm not away from home at University. Then I live in central Alberta.

I have a great mother and father, and also a charming younger brother. I have a loving family, and they are all very important to me. I also have a dog that thinks he's a family member. And he, is to me anyhow.

He's not the first dog I've owned to think he runs the house. My first and most special dog, Max, was the same way. That's why his picture's at the top of my web page. Because that's where he always considered himself in the food chain at my house!

Sadly, Max left our family in October 1997, when he was hit by a camper. Our house will never be the same again. It was a terrible loss, and we still miss him.

However, Quigley, the new man in my life, is doing his best to make sure that we don't have much time for missing anybody. He's been with me for three weeks now, and he definitely is the center of my universe! How could he not be? As soon as I get my scanner working, there will be pictures up here.

More    about    me    .    .    .

Well, since this page is about me, I should tell you more about myself.

I love dogs. If that hasn't been even a little bit obvious up until now, it's true. I am a big fan of dogs, and how they can help society cure many of their ills. Especially the mental ones. I have spent a lot of time vollunteering in vet clinics, and working with dogs, just so that I could help them have a better life.

I also love to read. I'll read just about anything I can get my hands on, although I prefer autobiography and certain types of fiction. I like historical novels, because I feel like I'm learning something. I really like Diana Gabaldon's novels about a woman who travels back in time in Scotland. They're well written novels, and great to read! I'm not usually a fussy reader, although I have to admit that I'm not the hugest Sci-Fi fan. I have tried reading it, and usually can't follow the plot. Wonder what that says about me?

I like being outdoors, especially walking. A brisk walk first thing in the morning can be so refreshing. My dog and I go out for half an hour at least five days a week, and I find that it really wakes me up. I also like riding my bike, which is a habit that I picked up as an exchange student in Denmark. I could go for hours when it isn't too windy.

I like trivia, and brain teasers. Even though I often get frustrated by those types of games, I buy the books, and puzzles all the time. I like the thrill of solving the puzzle sometimes. Not that I'm any Shelock Holmes. I just enjoy it.

I love travelling, as a reasult of having been an exchange student. I live in Denmark from July 1995 to July 1996, and I loved it! I learned the language, and I really felt at home. I can't wait to go back, and see all of my friends. It'll be a joyful reunion, that's for sure! I got to travel to many of the major European cities, and I loved every single one of them. The buildings and architecture over there are so different than anything we have here. It's like a whole other world just waiting to be discovered.

Well, that's just an inkling of me. There are so many things I love to do, and so many things and people that are important to me that I just can't list them all here. As the page grows, so will your knowledge of who I am. Keep visiting to see the developments happen. Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you drop in again.
