After 3 previous attempts that ended in futility, John Elway, the greatest quarterback in NFL history, finally realized the glory of a Super Bowl Championship. Fueled by the incredible running of Terrell Davis, the dominance of the offensive line, and a tenacious defense, the Broncos ended years of frustration with thier first Super Bowl title. There were many pivotal plays in this classic game, perhaps the best Superbowl ever, but in my opinion none was bigger than when the defense held the Pack to a field goal early in the third quarter. After TD's fumble the Pack took over with great field position. The D held them to a game tying field goal. But on the kick the Broncos were offsides giving Green Bay a first down and four more cracks at the endzone. Once again the defense rose to the occasion and once again the Packers had to settle for the field goal to tie the game at 17. I think if the Pack could have gotten to paydirt and taken the lead then things could have been different. So it was truly a team effort, and the results could not have been sweeter. Superbowl XXXII Champions!
