Our family consists of My Husband, Myself, and our Two Children. I have a Son and a Daughter. I thought it would be fun to include their intrests here.. and of course, to provide links to the sites they enjoy visiting when they hit the net. I will also add my own sites of intrest...I have some new ones, and you may find you enjoy them too! MY HUSBAND: He is 46 this year. His life consists mainly of working, and his family. He is going to Promise Keepers this year for the first time! I will include for you a link to their website, I will also say that he hasn't been this excited about doing something in a long time. It promises to be a blessing for our whole family! He enjoys the show "Millenium" that is currently on FOX. I will provide a link for their website as well. MY SON: He is 10 this year. His main intrest in life is SONIC THE HEDGEHOG. There are plenty of links for that site as well. I will be listing them on this page for your kids to browse through. He has begun authoring storys about SONIC. My son also has Tourette Syndrome, with ADHD, and a few other things. I am going to provide links to sites that deal with this medical condition too. He also loves to watch Cartoons, and to ride bikes. He finally mastered a two-wheeler this year! This is a huge accomplishment for him! Something we are all very excited about. He is a big fan of Dinosaurs, and all things that deal with Space, I will include links for these sites also. MY DAUGHTER: She is 9 this year. She has developed a intrest in HANSON! Yes, those boys! I will include links to sites for them here too! There are alot! She also has decided that Winnie-the-Pooh is pretty cool! So here also, I will add links for the Pooh! Some fun sites! Her favorite things to do are sing, and play the piano. She loves to swim, and ride her bike. I am uncertain if there are sites to help kids with their piano skills, however there is a great computer program to teach your kids the piano....if you have a keyboard you can hook up to the computer, you can purchase a CD series called:"PIANO DISCOVERY" It is distributed by JUMP SOFTWARE. They have many ability levels you can purchase to train the beginner, to advanced pianist. It is interactive, and I highly recommend it. MYSELF: I am 36 this year. I have been a Betty Boop fan all of my life. I was dubbed Betty Boop by my sister (legend has it)when I was brought home from the hospital. The story says: My Mother brought me home and introduced me to my sister who at the time was a year and a half old. She said "This is your new sister Betty Lou" My sister said: "NO! BETTY BOOP!" That was it! The beginnings of my life as a Boopish type person! I have a long history of being Booper, The Boop, & Betty Boop. I, as a younger woman took on the "Boopish Type Things" meaning simply that if it was something I enjoyed, it was "Boopish Type Stuff". I will include links to the Betty Boop Sites I have located on the net. I also enjoy working out, music of all types, Prophecy, and SUMMER! I have been in school studying to become a Medical Transcriber. I will provide links to the Medical Transcribing Sites I have located on the net. They are FOR Transcribers, and offer help with difficult, or unusual words. I chose this career because of my son. I have been unable to return to my chosen proffesion since he was diagnosed almost 7 years ago. I had to find a career that would allow me to be a stay-at-home Mom, and still help bring money into our house. This is a field that meets that criteria. The schooling requires that your an able typist, and once that has been met, you need to take a Medical Terminology class, and then Transcribing classes. The school I am attending requires two semesters to finish the course in Transcription. If you choose to do this from your home, you will have to purchase a transcibing machine, and medical books. You are an Independent contractor, and therefore are responsible for your taxes, insurance, and record keeping. There are those who transcribe for a Company from there homes. The jobs are out there. For those who are in my position, I would suggest you prayerfully consider this type of work. It allows you to take care of your children, and help with the bills. I personally don't know many people who aren't intrested in being able to help take care of their families needs. I do know MANY however, who just don't know HOW!
