"Angel In Disguise" by Amanda

once a person so pure so true
came to me out of nowhere
she looked sincere til you really peeked through
blue eyes, beautiful, and long blonde hair
she seemed troubled and yet not
then i knew she wan't from here
then as a glow burst over the lot
i could tell when the halo appeared
her eyes lit up with great love
and along came her piers
as she stared up above
she started to shed tears
wings burstout like doves
with a gown milky white
then i knewthat there up above
when she was on this courageous flight
she wouldn't give me up without a fight
i was wondering if she was my best friend
that day or the wonderful night
she'd be my friend to the end

Critiques:

-Overall, I thought it was a good poem. I thought it was well written, kind of captured the essence to what it might be like to meet an angel.
