"Swedish Fish" by Larry Kaufman If I could have a single wish, Your chewy goodness in my hand Your blissful image fills my dreams; Swedish Fish, it's you I love: Critiques: -I like the way this poem seems silly at first but then more and more profound. It's like Pablo Neruda's odes, only shorter and sweeter, I think. The rhythm and sounds are very good, too. Like "The seas would teem with Swedish Fish." |
