"Swedish Fish" by Larry Kaufman

If I could have a single wish,
The seas would teem with Swedish Fish.

Your chewy goodness in my hand
Makes me feel so very grand.

Your blissful image fills my dreams;
You're all I see, or so it seems.

Swedish Fish, it's you I love:
You fill my life, or lack thereof.

Critiques:

-I like the way this poem seems silly at first but then more and more profound. It's like Pablo Neruda's odes, only shorter and sweeter, I think. The rhythm and sounds are very good, too. Like "The seas would teem with Swedish Fish."
