I am sending you this song because it is such a blessed song.
Let me tell you a little history about this song,
The composers name is: William Himes,
He is an officer (officer=pastor) in the Salvation Army,
at the time he wrote this song his young wife was dying of cancer,
they had a couple of young children as well to add to the situation,
and that's about all I know of the story.
Just to add this note: it is one of my favorite songs,
I just wish you could hear the melody, it's slow and soft.
It is such a touching song and in my opinion, a prayer,
I know it is my prayer.
