Outstanding Performances

Langley's Michael Planicka swim the 50 yard Freestyle in 21.60 qualifying him for 1996-1997 All American Consideration. Planicka won the 100 yard Freestyle in 50.75 and anchored Langley's winning the 200 Medley and 400 Freestyle Relays touching out Lee's Matt Brado both times. Brado, a junior at Lee, won the 200 and 500 yard Freestyle events,while teammate Justin Betts won the 200 yard Individual Medley and the 100 yard Breaststroke events in Northern Region and State Championship qualifying times

Langley's Ashley Platt won both the 200 and 500 yard Freestyle events in Northern Region and State Championship qualifying times. Also swimming Northern Region and State Championship qualifying times for Langley were Ashley LeFrak in 200 yard IM, Joslyn Lyons in 100 yard Butterfly, Ashlee Terry in 100 yard Backstroke, and Samantha Perry 100 yard Breaststroke.
