Kate was born on October 5, 1975 in England. Her eyes are blue-green (hazel) and has original blonde hair, despite the recent red and brown hair in her past movies. Ms. Winslet is 5 ft. 8 inches and weighs from 125 to 185 lbs.

Not too many people know that she starred in, "Sense and Sensibility" with other British actor, Hugh Grant, and "Hamlet." Besides being in them, Kate also loves movies. Her favorite movies include: The Piano, Reservoir Dogs, Silence of the Lambs, Santa Claus: The Movie, Grease.
