POTOTAN LIONS CLUB

OCTOBER 1998. The club held its 22nd induction of officers and new members last October 3, 1998. On the 7th, they held their general membership meeting. Its agenda included preparations for the Lions World Service Day, reports of various committees for the induction were read and the Chairman for medical, dental and health services Lion Isabel Cenal, and who is at the same time a municipal health officer, requested the club's assistance for the Tigdas Vaccination in Brgy. Cahaguikican on October 13, 1998.

A board and general membership meeting was held. The agenda consisted of the approval for the proposed sponsorship to foreign-based pianist and Professor Raul Sonico to hold a piano concert. Various committees were formed in connection with the affair. The club also discussed the cleanliness drive, which was implemented during All Souls and All Saints' Day. This includes the painting of the municipal cemetery's decorative iron doors. The said chapel was also provided by the club with galvanized roof and helped in its renovation with a cost of P55, 000.00 way back in 1979.

On the 29th and 30th, the club indeed ventured into the cleaning and painting project in the municipal cemetery.
