tep back in time and indulge in life's
endangered pleasures. The Little Flower
Inn, located in the heart of the King
William District, offers you a Bed &
Breakfast experience in the true old-fashioned
tradition for those discriminating souls. |

After retiring
from the Army in 1996, Phil and Christine Touw
bought this 90-year-old classic home. They spent
the next year getting to know the nature and
character of their home. As they lovingly
restored this charmer to her former beauty, Phil
and Christine added modern conveniences to make
your stay more enjoyable. From the moment you
enter the parlor, you are surrounded by
Oriential rugs, period antiques, rich burgundy
walls and 14-foot floor to ceiling damask drapes
have put the gleam back in the "old girl's
eye". |

The Little
Flower Inn opened on February 14, 1998. Her
Innkeepers wish to share their love of the Little
Flower with you. They are dedicated to providing
their guests elegant and comfortable surroundings
at reasonable prices. The Inn is a non-smoking
home with pets in residence. Phil and Christine invite you to enjoy a
bed & breakfast experience you will never
forget. Come make memories happen! |

two blocks from the San Antonio riverwalk, the Inn has several
great restaurants, quaint shops & art
galleries within walking distance. The Inn's
ideal location is set one block south of King
William Street which is described by Texas
Monthly as "one of the
prettiest streets in Texas." Bicycles are
readily available from a local rental service for
an easy ride through the historic mission trail.
Trolley service to all points of interest is

Nestled among
the Inn's flowering herb garden is a private swimming pool. Guests can lounge and
swim from 9:00 AM until
5:00 PM daily. Come bask in the Texas sun and
frolic in the cool water. Just think, the pool is
yours for the afternoon. No crowded hotel pool
for you! It's the perfect way to begin your
morning after your homemade breakfast or end your
afternoon touring the city. What a refreshing way
to beat the Texas heat! |
The garden and
pool area provides the perfect setting for your
intimate celebrations such as weddings, renewal of wedding vows
or romantic getaways. Special arrangements may be
made for a private wedding. As a retired army
chaplain and ordained minister, Phil can even
serve as your minister. |
The Inn,
dedicated to St. Therese of Lisieux, is aptly named in her
devotion. The Innkeepers are committed to an
active ministry. In devotion to St. Therese's
"little way", the Innkeepers donate 10%
of your room rate to a non-profit organization.
The organization of choice is researched by the
Innkeepers and changes on a quarterly basis. This
quarter's organization is the Best Friends Animal
Sanctuary. |
