TAP INTO YOUR INTUITION

SELF DISCOVERY

We all have intuitive abilities, but many of us do not know how to utilize them to the fullest extent.  How often have you had a brief, fleeting thought and then chose to ignore it, later finding out you should have paid attention to that thought?  It has happened to almost all of us and learning to "listen" to our intuition and allow it to guide us is an important lesson for all of us to learn.

Our intuition is like a muscle that must be excercised regularly in order for it to work well.  The simple technique that follows will help you to strengthen your intuitive powers.

To get started, do this quick excercise daily.  Ask yourself a very simple question that has a "yes" or "no" answer. such as "Will it rain today" or "Will the stock market close up from its opening price today", or any question that can be answered easily by the end of the day.

Now, relax your body.  To help center yourself, be aware of how your body feels and what you are thinking about.  Next, imagine you are holding an apple in your right hand.  Note how heavy it is, how big it is, its color.  Now put out your left hand and visualize another apple, thinking about its size, weight, color, texture, scent as well.  Ask yourself which apple is larger, how much bigger it is than the other one.

If the second apple is larger than the first, the answer to your question is YES.  If it's smaller, the answer is NO.

Note your experience and then check your answer at the end of the day or the next day to see if you were correct.  While you are learning to do this, some of your answers may be inaccurate, but the more you practice the more accurate you will become at using your intuition to answer yes and no questions.
