ABSOLUTE INFORMATION

Please remember that we are not Gods and that we never know or see anything with absolute certainty.  Because of this, NEVER give absolute information.  Never give absolute time frames.  Most of our complaints arise from readers telling clients that things will happen with certainty, or in a certain amount of time.  Do not get pushed into absolutes!  YOU are in control of the reading!

If a customer has any questions, comments, complaints, etc. you may give them the customer service number.

CALLERS SEEKING BUSINESS INFORMATION
Due to the competitive nature of our business, you may come across individuals asking questions about our company and its operation.  You are to give out no information regarding the location, size, or operating procedures of Visions Of Light to anyone.  As with customer complaints, obtain the callers name and telephone number and tell them that they will be contacted by your manager.

ABUSIVE OR OBSCENE CALLERS
You are not expected to put up with an abusive or obscene caller.  Remember that what is obscene to one, may be only flirtatious to another.  Most of the time you need only refer them to another type of 900 line.  In this situation, be as polite as possible and end the call immediately.

UNDERAGE CALLERS
All clients must be at least 18 years of age.  If a caller is deemed to be under the age of 18, explain that you can not do a reading for them and end the call as quickly as possible.  The only exception to this rule is if a parent or guardian who is over 18 calls and requests that you do a reading for an underage person.  The adults name and birthday must then appear on  your log sheet.

DISCONNECTIONS AND INTERFERENCE
Occasionally, our telecommunications service and equipment may experience technical difficulties.  These difficulties may include static on the line, hang-ups, disconnections, etc.  Do not be alarmed if these problems happen in isolated instances.  If, however, the problem continues, make a note in the margin of your log sheet.
