When I have my eyes on these cards, I remember of my childhood. I once had a butterfly kite. It is not exactly the same as that in the card, but quite alike. I still remember what fun to fly it and how I lost it. But there is a kite forever flying high in the sky of my heart.

Dragon, phoenix, dragonfly and butterfly are most popular images on kites. You may find kites with similar images easily in different places of China. But some special ones may only be available in Wei Fang, a city in Shandong province. People of Wei Fang are well-known as masters of making and flying kites. Some of them are also great painters of kites. Their kite paintings are marvelous and distinguish so that kites from Wei Fang are collectibles now.

On back sides of these cards, Wei Fang kite paintings are printed perfectly. They are so nice. Even you can  hardly believe they are kites! Sorry, I can not present the pictures due to certain reason.
