Well I just wanted to set down some rules to help keep things running smoothly.
1. This is an HTML list (duh LoL) so lets keep
our posts related to HTML only. That includes
everything you could possibly use for HTML. This is an all age group so Keep It Clean! There will be NO SALEs, JOKEs, Inappropriate Material
or NUDITY and NO PROFANITY allowed on the list!
Holiday weekends we are closed for Questions and Answers. During this time we Do ALLOW Greetings to be posted to the list that are not HTML related.
2. There are no dumb questions. No matter how
many times it gets asked. The only DUMB Question is the ONE NOT ASKED. People learn at a different speed. So it does not matter HOW many times you ask about the same problem we are here to learn and asking Questions is HOW we learn.
3. Absolutely no fighting on the list. We will
not allow people to argue on the list. If you
have a disagreement and there will be one sooner
or later; take it to private e-mail. This
includes, but is not limited to Cussing and
Sarcasm. We will give one warning to individuals. If they continue then the individual will be
removed and banned.
4. Do not use rams in your signature. NO REAL
AUDIO ALLOWED. INCLUDE the URL of all Links that
are being sent to the list in the BODY of the
Message, so they will be visible to members on
Digest.
5. Don't answer a question unless you know the
answer. That doesn't mean you can't go research
the information and then answer. I am simply
saying don't pretend your way through an answer.
6. Do not unless given permission copy peoples
E-Mail address. The result of unwanted mailing
will be removal and banning after the first
warning. Possibly depending on the nature of the
mailing; you could be reported to abuse at whatever server you are using.
7. There will be no WEBPAGE that is mainly setup for promoting and Advertising another HTML Help eGroup for the purpose of Enrollment allowed to be sent to HTML_HELP list. It is ok to have a small Banner of another List at the bottom of your E-Mail page. There are no exceptions to this rule.
