I AM

~THE ARGUMENT~

~Jesus and Satan were having an ongoing argument about who managed to get the most out of his computer. This had been going on for days and God was tired of hearing all of the bickering. God said, "Cool it. I am going to set up a test that will run two hours and I will judge who does the better job." So down they sat at the keyboards and typed away.~
~They did spreadsheets.~
~They wrote reports.~
~They sent faxes.~
~They sent out e-mail.~
~They sent out e-mail with attachments.~
~They downloaded.~
~They did some genealogy reports.~
~They made cards.~
~They did every known job.~
~But just a few minutes before the two hours were up a lightening flashed across the sky. The thunder rolled and the rains came down hard. And of course the electricity went off. Satan was upset. He fumed and fussed and he ranted and raved. All to no avail. The electricity stayed off. But after a bit the rains stopped and the electricity came back on. Satan screamed, "I lost it all when the power went off. What am I going to do? What happened to Jesus' work?" Jesus just sat and smiled. Again Satan asked about the work that Jesus had done. As Jesus turned his computer back on the screen glowed and when he pushed "print" it was all there. "How did he do it?" Satan asked. God smiled and said, "Jesus Saves."~

~A PLACE FOR ME~

~There is a special place in life, That needs my humble skill, A certain job I'm meant to do, Which no one else can fulfill.~

~The time will be demanding, And the pay is not too good And yet I wouldn't change it for a moment, even if I could>~

~A LETTER FROM GOD~

~Good Morning, I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help.~

~If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, DO NOT attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) box. It will be addressed in MY time, not yours.~

~Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or attempt to remove it. Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem. If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution.~

~Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep. Rest my child. If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.~

~You never know when it's your time to go. Are you ready?~

~A PRAYER~

~Father, I ask you to Bless my friend reading this right now! Lord show them a new revelation of your love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to minister to their spirit at this very moment. Where there is pain, give them Your Peace & Mercy. Where there is self-doubting, release a renewed confidence in your ability to work through them. Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask you to give them understanding, patience, and strength as they learn submission to your leading. Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask you to renew them by revealing your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with you.~

~Where there is fear, reveal your love, and release to them your courage. Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life. Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders and friends to support, and encourage them.~

~Give each of them discernment to recognize the demonic forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in you to defeat it. I ask you to do these things in Jesus' name!~

~If you never felt pain, Then how would you know that I'm a Healer?~

~If you had all power, Then how would you learn to depend on me?~

~If your life was perfect, Then what would you need Me for?~

~GOD~

~If you feel far away from God, guess who moved?~

~Fear knocked. Faith answered. No one was there.~

~What you are is God's gift to you. What you become is your gift to God.~

~I am God's melody of life and He sings His song through me.~

~We can never really go where God is not, and where He is, all is well.~

~No matter what is happening in your life, know that God is waiting for you with open arms.~

~THE CONCERT~

~Wishing to encourage her young son's progress on the piano, a mother took her boy to a Paderewski Concert. After they were seated, the mother spotted a friend in the audience and walked down the aisle to greet her.~

~Seizing the opportunity to explore the wonders of the concert hall, the little boy rose and eventually explored his way through a door marked "NO ADMITTANCE." When the house lights dimmed and the concert was about to begin, the mother returned to her seat and discovered that the child was missing.~

~Suddenly, the curtains parted and spotlights focused on the impressive Steinway on stage. In horror, the mother saw her little boy sitting at the keyboard, innocently picking out "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."~

~At that moment, the great piano master made his entrance, quickly moved to the piano, and whispered in the boy's ear, "Don't quit. Keep playing." Then leaning over, Paderewski reached down with his left hand and began filling in a bass part. Soon his right arm reached around to the other side of the child and he added a running obbligato.~

~Together, the old master and the young novice transformed a frightening situation into a wonderfully creative experience. The audience was mesmerized.~

~That's the way it is with our Heavenly Father. What we can accomplish on our own is hardly noteworthy. We try our best, but the results aren't exactly graceful, flowing music. But with the hand of the Master, our life's work can be truly beautiful.~

~Next time you set out to accomplish great feats, listen carefully. You can hear the voice of the Master, whispering in your ear, "Don't quit. Keep playing." Feel His loving arms around you. Know that His strong hands are there helping you turn your feeble attempt into true masterpieces. Remember, God doesn't call the equipped, He equips the called. And He'll always be there to love and guide you on to great things.~

~MARY'S LITTLE LAMB~

~Mary had a little Lamb, His fleece was white as snow, And everywhere that Mary went, The Lamb was sure to go.~

~He followed her to school each day, When it wasn't against the rules. It made the children laugh and play, to have a Lamb at school.~

~Then the rules changed one day, Unlawful it became To bring the Lamb of GOD to school Or even speak HIS name.~

~Everyday got worse and worse, And days turned into years. Instead of hearing children laugh and play, You heard them crying tears.~

~What must we do to stop the crime, Thats in our schools today? Let the Lamb come back to school, And teach our kids to pray.~

~ANGELS~

~What Do Angels Look Like? Like the little old lady who returned your wallet yesterday.~

~Like the taxi driver who told you that your eyes light up the world, when you smile.~

~Like the small child who showed you the wonder in simple things.~

~Like the poor man who offered to share his lunch with you.~

~Like the rich man who showed you that it really is all possible, if only you believe.~

~Like the stranger who just happened to come along, when you had lost your way.~

~Like the friend who touched your heart, when you didn't think you had one to touch.~

~Angels come in all sizes and shapes, all ages and skin types.~

~Some with freckles, some with dimples, some with wrinkles, some without.~

~They come disguised as friends, enemies, teachers, students, lovers and fools.~

~They don't take life too seriously, They travel light.~

~They leave no forwarding address, They ask nothing in return.~

~They wear sneakers with gossamer wings, They get a deal on dry cleaning.~

~They are hard to find when your eyes are closed, but They are everywhere you look, when you choose to see.~

~THE LORDS BASEBALL~

~Bob and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team, The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the ninth inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate whose name was Love. Love swung at the 1st pitch and hit a single, because Love never fails.~

~The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faithworks with Love. The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch. Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass. Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked, because Godly Wisdom never swings at what Satan throws.~

~The bases are loaded. The Lord then turns to Bob and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to bat stepped Grace. Bob said "He sure doesn't look like much!" Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his firstpitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen.~

~But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by. He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing to the ground; then it continued over the fence for a home run!~

~The Lord's team won. The Lord then asked Bob if he knew why Love, Faith and Godly Wisdom could get on base but could not win the game. Bob answered that he did not know why. The Lord explained, "If your love, faith and wisdom had won the game you would think you had done it by yourself.~

~Love, faith and wisdom will get you on base, but only MY Grace can get you home, My Grace is the only thing Satan cannot steal."~
