| I've been surfing the web since the fall of 1995, just when Windows 95 was starting to take off. When I first got on the web, there were few places to actually buy stuff online. Most sites only featured advertisements. It was really hard to find stuff in general. Domains were more expensive back then, so there was very little of whatever.com. Some sites existed, but the URL(uniform resource locater), aka website address, was a mile long making it difficult to remember. |
We are about to enter a new century, and anything you want can be ordered with a few clicks of the old mouse, and some plastic.
