Ever since I was a kid with my first Kodak 1940's hand me down from my mom, I have always loved photography. Light and scenery is a neverending experiment to me. In 1989, I purchased an RCA 310 VHS camera and so began my first business, VIDEO EVENTS, videotaping weddings, etc. I enjoyed what I did, but this was before the web came into play, which limited me in how I could market my business. By 1992, video cameras had gone from $1,000 standard, to about $500 or less, making it possible for almost anyone to have a video camera. I was paying about $300 for Value Pak to cover about a half a mile of the west end of Henrico County. Needless to say, this didn't cover a lot of ground, and I was forced to throw in the towel. Recently I purchased a Sony FD-7 digital mavicam from a friend of mine. Film is now a thing of the past for me. This camera uses a 3.5 floppy disk. You can store about 15 pictures on one disk, then touch them up on your computer. Here are some of my first pics, enjoy.
