Having examined questioned documents for the last 29 years he is one of the most experienced experts in his field and is committed to the continued development of advances in technology in document examination.

He has been a member of the Forensic Science Society since 1965 and is included in their current list of World Laboratories and Practices. He is on the Law Society's list of checked experts and is a founding member of the Expert Witness Institute.
