Back in the day when I first discovered anime and would go to the local Video Update to rent stuff I put off getting this one. In the future people are living on Mars. Ross Sylibus gets transfered from the LAPD or something 'cause his partner was killed by a robot and he could'nt handle it. He ends up w/ Naomi Armitage as his partner. Little does he know she is a Third, an illegal type of robot that is undistinguishable from a human. Someone is killing Seconds and Thirds and they get assigned to the case.

They probably go more into how Ross becomes more like a robot and the death of his partner. The music really fits it. Very techno and stuff. I like the ending song on the movie, the name escapes me at the moment though. All in all, this is a very good anime and should be viewed by all those into dark futuristic movies.
