Warnings

Well, I guess it depends if you're talking about the cut or un-cut version. The cut version has nothing really bad in it but some violence. The un-cut one has some mild swearing. And *gasp* people are actually shown getting shot! On top of that, they bleed!! Yeah, if I had kids I'd let them watch it. Nothing terribly bad. There's no nudity or sex(that I know of. Perhaps there might be in the un-edited one.)

The plot sometimes gets hard for me to follow when I miss a few episodes to go to work(Damn job!!). But all in all...here goes...

The year is After Colony 195, meaning that there are colonies in space(duh). They want to be free of earth, from what I understand so there are these scientist guys who build special moblie suits called Gundams. They're made out of gundamium alloy so almost nothing can hurt them. 5 pilots are chosen to pilot them on earth to destroy Oz, who is trying to control the colonies. The pilots and stuff will be talked about later. It's revealed later on that Oz is actually run by the Romefeller Foundation. A spoiled brat named Relena Peacecraft gets caugt up in this after some secrets are revealed and the whole thing is basically a long military campaign involving large robots. A lot of people splitting off and coming back. Like Treiz and Zechs. They fight a lot.

The Gundam series is like, the all time mecha lord or something. But Gundam Wing is by far the most popular. I like it for the bishonen. The artwork is fairly average. The music kicks ass. The plot is terribly tangled. If you even miss a few episodes you'll be completely lost, in that it's like the X-Files. I think the main reason it came over here is for the mecha battles. They wanted all the merchandising stuff. I don't care though. I'm just glad it's here. A must see for any mecha or Gundam fan.

Heero Yuy

He is called "The Perfect Soldier". Very quiet. You know when he speaks it's important. For some reason he seems hell bent on killing himself. In many womens opinions he is the hottest one in the bunch. He pilots Wing Gundam, and later Wing Zero. (thanks to The Princess for this info about Heero's name) It is rumoured that Heero's real name is Odin Lowe (Heero Yuy is just a code name, after the former president of the colonies who was assassinated).

Duo Maxwell

Duo is the most cheerful of the pilots despite the fact that he is called "Shinigami", meaning God of Death("The Great Destroyer" in the cut version). By far he has the coolest gundam, Deathsythe, later upgraded to Deathsythe Hell. If it weren't for him none of the pilots would talk and would probably be dead. He's my favorite. The easiest way to identify him is the meter long braid he has had since childhood.

Trowa Barton

Trowa is terribly serious all the time. Almost never smiles. Definately athletic, he's a gymnist. He works in the circus. Nothing fazes him at all, even when Cathryn hit him with that knife when she was throwing. He pilots Heavyarms. Finally, I find out that Trowa's real name is Triton Bloom. He took the name Trowa after the REAL Trowa Barton was killed. Before he took the name of Trowa everyone called him "Nanashi" which means "No Name". I guess you find this out in Endless Waltz. I just got the DVD and havn't watched it yet. Many thanks to The Princess, Duo~Shingami~No~Miko for this information.

Quatre Rababa Winner

Who can blame Quatre if he's a little bit femme? He grew up in a fancy household, was spoiled(not anymore),and has 29 sisters that used to play "dress up" with him. He hates killing people and often asks them to surrender or apologizes for killing them. He has a bunch of workers, the Maguanac Team, that help him out. He's good friends w/ Trowa, leading many to belive that they are gay(which they aint!). He pilots Sandrock.

Chang WuFei

WuFei is often forgotten 'cause he's always spouting stuff about "I am the law." He's obviously Chinese. He had a wife that died. So he calls his gundam "Nataku" because he belives her spirit is manifested through it. Although it's real name is Altron Gundam and/or ShenLong(I think). He is a major loner and mostly fights by himself.

Zechs Merqise(aka, Millarod Peacecraft)

Long blonde hair and blue eyes cause many fangirls to fall for him. He used to be a Lt. w/ Oz, but later quit and went on to lead White Fang, a rebel group fighting for the colonies. He's Relena's brother.

Relena Peacecraft

Very annoying. A spoiled little girl with high ideals. She's very motivated though. She thinks she's in love with Heero. Who can forget the famouse cliffside scene? "Heeeeero! Come here quickly and kill me!!" Or the acrtic one, "Heero, kill Zechs!" That was before she knew he was her brother though. Heero ought to kill her and get it over with already.

Treiz Kushrenada

A former general w/ Oz. Split off to form the Treiz Faction. Later fights for the earth. Not much else I can think of now.

Lucreicia Noin

Used to work for Oz. Then I think she went around w/ Relena and did stuff. I think she's the prettiest of all the women.

Dorthy Catalonia

An evil little girl with forked eyebrows. She's w/ the Romefeller Foundation and ends up as second in command in White Fang. She ends up fighting Quatre at one point and screws everything up.
