The wind is blowing softly, playing games around her hair
She has a look of sadness, but never one of fear.
She's surrounded by emotions, trying hard to keep control
Her life is just a lesson, she won't let it take it's toll.

As she walks along the meadows, all the shadows seem to leave
He longs to reach across to her, but thinks she won't believe.
He thinks of lonely times, when he could be her strength
But for now she walks alone, giving her mind some time to think.

She settles down to night time, begins to drift away
And music starts a melody, of laughter and of play.
Her thoughts start to caress her, keep her safe and dry
This man is in her dreams again, although she knows not why.

He comes to her in moonlight, gently looking into her eyes
He walks her on the starlit path, he holds her when she cries.
The colors seem to brighten, the trees begin to sway
She wakens in confusion, to begin another day.

It's going to be a long road, but eventually she'll win
She hasn't given up yet, for she's come to see hope again.
Turning to the path, she see's the main waiting in the alcove
And she feels her soul take flight, as she runs to him with love.
