Preacher: Gone to Texas

Preacher. What can I say. I love this trade and have read it so many time I have it memorized. It is written perfectly with dialog so real scary. Garth Ennis is truly on of our elite writers in the comic field. The art is sharp, and while not as detailed as Eric Larson or Howard Porter, it gets the job done.

This TBP reprints the first 2 story arcs and introduces most of the big players. Jesse, Tulip, Cassidy, The Saint of Killers, and Arseface are all there. The story is funny, shocking, and action packed. Its like the black humor of Pulp Fiction is mixed with the sharp dialog and weird situation in Clerks.

I can not reccomend this book enough. It is a must own.
