Preacher: War in the Sun
Grade:
War in the Sun is much better that the previous Preacher TPB Dixie Fried, It collects 34-40 and the Starr one-shot. The story is a lot more exciting than the one in Dixie Fried, there is a ton of action and tons of black humor, the driving point of the series.
The Starr one-shot is excellent too, while the art is a little sketchy, it really gives a lot of backround on the grail and why Starr is how he is. Once again, there is a ton of humor the the characterization is excellent. All I can say bad about this book is the last issue, where arseface is having the dream. I have no idea what that was supposed to mean, but play Led Zepplins Dazed and Confused while reading it and suddenly it makes it much more entertaining. Like I have said before, buy the previous Preacher TPB's because this is an epic story.
