Sam and Max, Surfin' the Highway

Sam and Max is, to be quite honest, one of the funniest comic books ever printed. This trade collects virtually every appearance the duo has made, with the exception of a 3 page strip in an issue of Wizard I think they got everything. It even has the 2 page strips that appeared in the Adventurer, a news letter you used to get when you bought a Lucas Arts game. Like Bone, the art is in black and white which is used to the series advantage. The level of detail is amazing and the panels are full of gags. The stories are stupid mostly as an excuse for more gags. But it never gets old, you will laugh at something new every time you read it. There is personality to spare, with all sorts of mad adventures happening. Sam and Max are great characters and I wish they appeared more often. As it is, no new Sam and Max comics have been printed since 1995! But this trade is great and it will leave you wanting more. I almost want to give it 6 stars just so it would stand out even more. Everyone with a sense of humor should buy this TPB.
