Weapon X

Grade:

Weapon X is supposed to be the story of Wolverines implants and the involvement with the Weapon X project. But there in lies the problem. Marvel want to keep Wolvie a mystery man so really the story can't tell you when this took place, why it took place, or who Wolvie was before this happened. You get some hints but thats about it.

Most of the story is about the bonding of adamantium to his bones and the training that took place afterwords. Also there is some revenge stuff. But the story seams to double back on itself and suddenly huge scenes you think were important are just memorie implants or dreams or virtual reality training. It is hard to enjoy it when 99% of the book is probably just a memory implant. The only stuff that seams real is the bonding process and the Professor. Both of these are reinforced in core Marvel Books. So what do you get out of this story? In the end, nothing.
