Like every artiste, meera also think of some of the most unforgettable incidents that have happened in their lives.
Meera, who plays the lead along with Akhil of Kalloori fame in Anantha Narayanan's movie Valmiki, says that one such incident took place during the shooting of the movie Mulla, her first film in Malayalam which was directed by Lal Joseph.
Film require me to cry in front of people for a particular scene in Mulla. And I couldn't. Lal sir came up to me and said,'Meera, imagine your lover is sick and cry'.
I replied 'If my lover isn't well, he should be admitted to a hospital. Why should I cry?'"
"The whole set laughed at this question of mine," says the actress.
No Glamour Please - Meera
Malayalam actress, Meera, who has acted in Mulla, a Malayalam film, was picked by director Anantha Narayanan to play the role of Vandana in Valmiki.
" I'll act if I get roles like the role of Vandana in Valmiki or Lachi in Mulla. If I continue to get such roles, I'll continue to act. Else, I'll have to think a bit," the actress, who has just finished school and is looking to join college, says.
"Actually, I never had any intention of acting in Tamil movies. But the story of Valmiki, my role in the story and the technicians associated with it impressed me so much that I accepted to play the role," she adds. "Also, my figure does not suit glamorous roles," she points out with a smile.
