=Chapter 5=

She walked briskly through the busy streets of Tokyo. Everywhere she went she managed to turn heads and low whistles followed her wherever she went. Arisu was tall, with bright red hair and piercing green eyes. She was beautiful and she knew it. Not only that but she was also smart. She always used her looks to her advantage.

She decided to take the short cut through a dangerous part of Tokyo. She was after all in a hurry and didn’t want to waste time.

"Hey lady!" a voice hissed at her. She didn’t bother to turn around and just kept walking.

"Where do you think your going miss?" A man, obviously drunk had appeared in front of her and blocked her way.

"Get the hell out of my way, I’m in a hurry" she scowled.

"ooohh! Pretty lady’s in a hurry maybe we should help her get where she’s going." Snickered a man behind her. A few more drunken laughters were heard as 4 men appeared behind the shadows. Arisu simply smirked.

"Listen, I’d love to stick around and play with you bastards, but I’m not in the mood right now so just get the hell out of my way.."

"Or else what?" The big man who was in front of her asked in a harsh voice as he grabbed her by the hair. The other men closed in on her as well.

"Or else…" her eyes glowed a light red color and her hair seem to have flown out everywhere, she uttered some words not understandable to the human ear and a red sphere seemed to appear and a huge beast came out of. The beast was Dark and tall, kinda looked like a half man half wolf if you looked at it closely. The men went stiff with fear at the sight of it.

"Tare-kun, seek ‘em!" she said in a low almost singing like voice. The beast howled and attacked. Blood splattered everywhere, and so did body parts. Arisu watched and couldn’t help but smile. "See I told you so." She said matter of factly to one of the men before he got his head decapitated. She dipped her finger in the pool of blood that lay beneath the man’s body and tasted it. "That’s enough Tare-kun, we mustn’t keep Aku-sama waiting." The beast disappeared in a flash of red light and Arisu walked away laughing, leaving the pool of blood and torn body parts behind her.

**********************************************

"…The woman walked away from the mess her beast left, she disappeared in the shadows." Miaka finished the reading and the book closed. The red light that surrounded her and the book faded.

"Miaka…" Keisuke started to say.

"Suzaku, I think is trying to warn us…" Miaka said slowly, she was not sure of the statement she just made but she had a feeling that it was true.

"Miaka, how come the book didn’t mention her name? Or anyone else’s name she mentioned?" Yui inquired.

It was strange that the book only mentioned the woman as ‘the woman’ and didn’t bother to give her name. And when she said that she mustn’t keep "him" waiting, the book didn’t mention the "him" in question.

"I don’t know…" Miaka said weakly.

The two Mikos in the apartment of the Shichi-sei, Tamahome was being watched by a figure in the shadows… Yui-chan remembered reading that passage and all of a sudden the book closed, like someone or something didn’t want her to read on.

"Miaka, I think someone, or something doesn’t want us to find out something… I don’t know what but just…" Yui started.

"Yea I know.." Miaka answered quickly and startled everyone in the room. "When I picked up the book, its like as though it was telling me to read it, and I had no control over myself. I just had to read it. I wanted to turn the page back and see if there was anything written about Taka’s where abouts, but it wouldn’t let me."

It’s true, Yui thought to herself. She couldn’t stop reading, like someone else took over her body and made her read. Yet no matter how much she wanted to turn back the pages she couldn’t.

"Yui-sama!" A voice called. "Yui-sama!" The voice was so familiar… who was it? It kept calling her. That voice…

"Oii Yui!" Keisuke’s voice broke through her thoughts. She glanced at all of them and noticed that they were staring at her. She looked down and she saw the reason why they did so.

Her hand was placed on the Shijin Ten shi-shou, and the book was glowing with blue light. She heard the voice call out once again. But instead of saying Yui-sama, the voice called her by her old alias, "Seiryuu no Miko." The voice said. That voice… it’s….

"Nakago!" Yui cried out The pages of the book turned open like crazy and a small clam dropped out from it. It was one of Tomo’s clams no doubt, one he used for his illusions. Yui opened it and waited to see what she would see. A few seconds later, there he was, staring right at her with his cold eyes, that didn’t look as cold as she remembered it to be.

"Yui-sama."
