Appearance: Chameleon is an African-American with dreadlocks. He is muscular, very well-toned. He has no tattoos, but he does have a hoop earring in his left ear. He generally wears black jeans, black sneakers, a white t-shirt and a black jacket. He always wears a black and white bandana around his head.

Personality: Chameleon is quite literally the strong, silent type. He is very quiet and prefers his actions to speak louder than his words. He is very loyal and dedicated to his friends and family. It takes a lot to get to know him, he doesn't come right out and offer information to anyone.

Affiliation: Currently None

Powers: Chameleon has the ability to change the color of his body and clothing and shapeshift to blend into his surroundings in order to conceal his whereabouts.

Limitations: He cannot remain blended into his surroundings for an over-extended amount of time or his powers start to fade and reveal his position.

Skills: Chameleon is a skilled fighter. He has not had any formal training, but he's a skilled street- fighter. He also has extensive computer training and can hack into just about any computer.

Weapons: His fists.

Chameleon grew up in a poor, ghetto-type neighborhood in Boston, MA. His computer training is entirely self-taught. His mutant abilities showed themselves when he his puberty, around age thirteen, and his life has never been the same. He has the opportunity to be a spy thanks to his powers, but he's never been approached by anyone for any kind of job. He has always believed humans and mutants can live together on this planet, they just have to learn to accept each other. Look beyond what they see on the surface.

Chameleon's parents still live in the same neighborhood they raised their son in. It isn't a good place at all, and as a teen, Chameleon was a member of a local gang. He has since gotten out of gang-life, but he still has friends and enemies in his old neighborhood. He would still be in the gang now, but his younger sister Cassandra, was killed when she got caught in the cross-fire of a fight between the two local gangs when Chameleon was twenty. Cassie was fourteen. At that point, Chameleon decided he'd had enough and got out of the gang.

Chameleon would like to honor his sister (who had been one of the few people to fully accept the fact that her big brother was a mutant) by trying to use his abilities and beliefs to make the world a better place for both humans and mutants to live. He has a dream to open The Cassandra Richards Memorial Shelter, a type of haven for homeless people, mutant and human alike, but he does not have the funding or the support to do so.
