APPROBATION
These prayers and the Promises of Our Lord were taken from a book printed at Toulous in 1740.
These were published by a Missionary Apostolic of the Holy Land, Father Adrion Parvilliers of the Society of Jesus.
Approbation, permission and recommendation were given to spread (promulgate) the devotion.
The collection containing these prayers and the promises of our Lord have not been approved by a great
number of prelates but on May 31, 1862, His Holiness Pope Pius IX gave his Papal blessings upon these books.
This Collection of Books was also recommended by the Great Congress of Malines on August 22, 1863.
