Ken-shiro
I met Ken back in Febrary 1989, when I was in Air Force tech school at Keesler AFB, MS. This was my computer training in between Basic Training and arriving at my first assignment.
We've kept in touch over the years.
Ken's tech school lasted almost one year. I left in the Spring of 1989, having received an assignment to AFMPC at Randolph AFB, TX, on the far NE edge of San Antonio. That summer, I went TDY for a class back to Keesler. Ken was still there. He finally graduated and went to Ramstein AB Germany. I originally was slated to go to Ramstein AB and certainly would have if I'd not been divered to Randolph. We would have been there at the same time.
In 1993, I went TDY to Chicago for an Oracle class. I was just 90 minutes from where Ken lives. I took two days of leave since it was only a three day class and visted with him. He had separated from the Air Force some time before.
Strangely, when I was working at Oracle in 1997, I again when to the same Chicago office for a class and was able to visit Ken again.
Ken, a creative person by his nature, is using the web to further his expressive ideas.
