New Jerseys BOLTACTIONBELIEF was formed in 1992 by drummer Wayne Lucina and guitarist Jim McIntosh. Their idea was to create a totally original sound to fill the void between the east coast metal scene, and the west coast Seattle grunge movement.
Drawing off a wide variety of influences including Black Sabbath, Jimi Hendrix, Trouble and atheist, they have developed a style of heavy rock that is both traditional and very contemporary.
