Memphis and The Songs

**UPDATE** IT IS TIME TO START GATHERING ALL OF THE SONGS ANY MENTION OF MEMPHIS IN THE LYRICS. EMAIL ME WITH YOUR SUBMISSIONS.

Memphis, Tennessee.

Home of the blues.
Home of the King.
Home of Bar-B-Que.
Birthplace of Rock 'n' Roll.

The greatest city in the world.

No matter what you call it you gotta
know that Memphis is mentioned
in more songs than any other city in
the world*. That's has to
mean something.

I am attempting to compile them all.
Contributions are not just welcomed,
they are encouraged and appreciated.

Here is what I have so far.

*Yeah, yeah. I know, you think that
New York or some other hack city is
mentioned in more songs. Well, you're
wrong. And if you don't agree then
compile your list and we will compare.
Then you will see.
