Morrow scored what proved to be the winning touchdown on a 10-yard Ray Doran run in the third. The play of the game, though, came with 57 remaining in the game and the Bears threatening near the goal. With the ball on the Morrow 12, Griffin's Emory Bell took a pitchout and was hit by linebacker Mike Gaskins. The ball came free and Glenn Hill recovered for Morrow. Morrow then drove the length of the field to set up Carlton Oswalt's 36-yard field goal with 1:20 remaining. Fayette's Doug Seigle tried a 45-yard field goal at the buzzer, but hit the left upright.
MORROW 14, LAGRANGE 7 (Away) October 6, 1990
